Aftercare
Your artist will talk you through this too
- Keep the wrap on as long as your artist says: a few hours for plastic wrap, three to five days for a clear adhesive film.
- Wash with clean hands, warm water and unscented soap.Pat dry.
- Put on a thin layer of unscented lotion two or three times a day.
- No pools, baths, saunas or sea until it has fully peeled, at least two weeks.Showers are fine.
- Don't pick or scratch. It peels like a light sunburn around days 5 to 10, and that is normal.
- Keep it out of the sun while it heals.Sunscreen after that, always.
- If it gets hotter, more swollen or more painful after day 3, or you see pus, see a doctor and text us.

FAQ
How do I book?
Text us your idea, the placement and a rough size.Add any reference photos you have.We reply with a quote and the next open dates.A deposit holds your spot.
How much is this going to cost?
Our minimum is .It covers the setup: fresh needles, fresh ink, a station cleaned for you.Yes, even for the tiny one. The setup is the same size. After that, you pay for time.At your consult, your artist gives you an estimate in hours. An estimate, not a promise. Skin decides the rest. The $ signs on each artist show you their tier before you fall for their work.
Is the deposit refundable?
No. It holds your time, so it's non-refundable.Custom work needs a deposit, and it comes off the final price.Move your date with 48 hours notice and it moves with you.Inside that window, it's gone.
Do I need a consultation first?
Small and flash pieces usually don't.For bigger custom work, we'll talk through the design, placement and sessions by text or in person before your date.
Can I just walk in?
For flash and small pieces, yes, when a chair is open.Text first and we'll tell you who's free.Custom work starts with a consult.Want one artist in particular? Book them. Most are a few weeks out.
I found a picture online. Can you do it?
Bring it. It's the fastest way to show us what you love. We'll redraw it for your body. What sits right on someone else's shoulder won't sit the same on your forearm. The one thing we won't do is copy another artist's custom piece line for line. That one is theirs.Flash is made to be repeated. Custom is made once.
How long will it take?
Your artist tells you at the consult, in hours.Big pieces happen over a few sessions, and you pay session by session.Ask for the running total any time.
Does it hurt?
Yes. Mostly like a bad sunburn being scratched.Ribs, sternum, feet and the inner arm are the loud spots. Outer arm and thigh are the quiet ones. The first half hour is the easy part. After that it builds, and you can ask for a break any time.
Can I use numbing cream?
Ask your artist first. Some numbing creams change how the skin takes ink, so many artists only allow certain ones.
How should I prepare?
Eat a real meal. Sleep. Skip the drinks the night before.Wear something that gives easy access to the placement.Bring a valid photo ID.
Do I tip?
If you love it, most people tip around 15 to 20%.
Will fine line fade?
All tattoos soften over the years.Very thin lines and tiny details soften faster, especially on hands, fingers and feet.Your artist will suggest a size and placement that will hold up.
Can I see healed work first?
Please do. Fresh tattoos always look good. Healed is the real test.Look for the pieces marked healed. Thinking fine line? Healed fine line shows you how it holds up.
I have an old tattoo. Can you make it look good?
Bring it in. Photos never show the whole story.Small fixes, yes, if there's something to build on.A full cover-up has to go bigger and darker than what's there now.If the old one is too dark, we'll tell you straight: a few laser sessions first. We'd rather wait than give you a cover-up you'll want covered.
Can you tattoo a name, date or handwriting?
Yes. Bring the original, not a screenshot of a screenshot. We go over every letter and every date with you before the stencil goes on.
Do I need ID?
Yes. We tattoo adults only: 18 and over, with a valid photo ID.No exceptions, even with a parent.
What if it needs a touch-up?
Some spots need a small touch-up after healing.Touch-ups within are free if you followed the aftercare.
Is it safe?
Needles are single-use and every surface is cleaned between clients.
